Company Introduction: Polymedco  is an international sales and marketing company specializing in laboratory and physician office diagnostic reagents and testing equipment. Our market focus is mainly large medical systems including National, Regional, Hospital and Physician Group Labs. Polymedco is currently changing the outcome of Colorectal Cancer (CRC) with its manual and automated FIT Screening. There is very large growth opportunity as FIT becomes the standard of care in CRC Screening.

Cortlandt Manor, NY (WestchesterCounty) based medical diagnostic distributor has opening for a full-time Clinical Technical Med Tech.   Job functions include instrument installation and training at customer sites, in-house telephone support, lab work, training and sales support.  Domestic travel to customer sites of up to 50% of time is required.  Experience in clinical chemistry, hematology and instrumentation is required along with a Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Medical Technology plus working experience in a clinical laboratory or other clinically related field.  Will also consider recent Medical Technology graduate.  Send resume to hr2@polymedco.com or fax resume to 914-931-3207.  Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits.

  COMPANY WILL REIMBURSE UP TO $5,000 RE-LOCATION EXPENSES

Job functions to include:

Provide customers with phone and /or field technical support of Capital Equipment and reagents

Travel up to 50% of time to customer sites to perform analyzer set up and installation as defined in all relevant SOP’s.  Provide thorough analyzer training.

Perform customer site assessments and necessary follow-up activities with proper documentation in company database. 

Assist in Technical Laboratory activities including, but not limited to, proficiency testing, product qualification studies, troubleshooting studies, customer correlation.

Provide sales training and sales support
