CNC/NC Programmer/Operator-Fargo, ND

Spherion is now recruiting for top candidates for a top quality manufacturing client. This Programmer/Operator operates CNC/NC equipment to produce finished metal products. This client has Haas Equipment and is writing programming using G Code.

Education:

Two-year technical school degree preferred

Experience:

Three years job experience in a related position required

Required Skills

Advanced Skills

·         Displays extensive knowledge of the products and procedures in the department

·         Operates and maintains all equipment and tools in the department

·         Setup and perform all operations (i.e. seam welding, heat treatment, and hard facing)

·         Provides support to R&D

·         Performs experimental trials

·         Assists co-workers with technical issues/production problems

·         Effectively trains employees

·         Works effectively in other areas of department or company (cross trained)

·         Develops programs for all products and processes

Intermediate Skills

• Interprets blueprints
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Conducts pre and final part inspections
• Develops and writes work instructions
• Sets-up, adjusts, and performs operations with complex features on standardized parts
• Sets-up, adjusts, and performs operations on new non-standardized parts with some assistance
• Assist in the development of new fixtures
• High level of work quality (i.e. rework), minimal rework
• Assists in training employees
• Performs paperwork requirements and other administrative duties
• Writes basic programs

Wage rate is $17-22/hr DOE
