Model Maker / Machinist / R&D Technician to fabricate and modify custom tooling and fixtures that support the rapid development of new products, equipment, and test methods. Also, will provide immediate support to R&D equipment and tooling that is inoperable.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Fabricate quality custom tooling using advanced technical skills: milling, drilling, turning, grinding, and EDM utilizing manual and CNC equipment.
- Monitor project status to ensure on-time delivery.
- Interpret complex drawings, sketches, and electronic files.
- Perform CAD/CAM operations including, basic drafting and design of tooling, and 2D/3D tool path programming.
- Perform in-process inspection on parts being machined.
- Perform routine maintenance of machine tools being used.
- Assist and mentor team members.
- Assess feasibility of design for fabrication, and offer solutions as necessary.
- Determine methods and procedures for efficient fabrication on all projects, with minimal instruction from the supervisor, or team member.
