Description:
Great manufacturing position with a well established local company. We are in current need of a seasoned CNC Press Brake Setup/Operator. We offer competitive benefits upon transition to company payroll.

-Press Brake Setup/Operator is responsible for setting up CNC press brake in accordance to documented work instructions. Setup/operator duties include but are not limited to:

-Prepare machine according to specific production demands, verifying blueprints, locate specified tooling, install tooling on the brake press, locate/load machine program, adjusting process parameters, running flat blanks into formed product, monitoring the process and recording process data on an in-process inspection form to create qualified sample first piece that meets customer precise specifications

-Must have own tools and capable of using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height stand, verniers, protractor, indi-square and right angle square, etc.

-The Press Brake Setup/Operator is also responsible running production parts through the brake. Running production parts means repetitively processing flat blanks into formed product, monitoring the process and recording process data on an in-process inspection form.

-The Press Brake Setup/Operator needs to be capable of using statistical process control (SPC) techniques to verify the performance of our processes and when indicated make adjustments to a process

-Ideal candidate will have experience with press brake setup/operations, use of Cincinnati brake press, blueprint reading, precision measurements, punch press operation, CNC Machining, and sheet metal cutting

Requirements:
• 3+ years experience setting up and operating CNC Brake Press machines

• MUST be able to do operation and set-ups, programming and editing a plus

• MUST be able to read and work from blueprints

• MUST have own tools

• MUST have a HS diploma or GED, ability to pass a 7yr felony including misdemeanor background check and a pre-employment drug screen
