SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The CNC programmer shall be responsible for planning and programming machining sequence for precision machined components for Aircraft, Aerospace, High Tech, & Gas Turbine Industries.  Work will consist of programming 5 axis machining centers, turning centers, horizontal & vertical boring mills.  Knowledge of surface speeds & feeds for ferrous & non-ferrous material essential.  Must be familiar with and able to select correct cutting tools, drills, taps, and inserts for various metals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will be required to interface with planning department & shop personnel to analyze & improve cycle time on new & existing computer programs used on various machine tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

§          Minimum 5 Years experience in Nuclear Quality Management.

§          Experience in Unigraphics

§          Knowledge with Mastercam programming software
