CNC Programmer/Set-Up Man

Our company is a large, established high-tech precision machine and fabrication shop located in the Baltimore area.  We are searching for a CNC Mill Set-Up Man for a broad range of computer controlled machines.  The growth of our company has created the demand for individuals who can step in and immediately handle Set-Ups of our CNC milling machine operations.  Our company provides a work environment that includes some of the latest technology, as well as competitive compensation and production incentives.  We also provide health care benefits and offer a 401k program.

Essential Duties”

• Setup of CNC milling machines and lathes;
• Troubleshoot instances of system malfunctions;
• Be able to read blueprints, work orders and machining instructions for operational sequences;
• Keep the Production Manager apprised of contradictions or irregularities in job specifications;
• Programming skills desirable;
• Be able to complete and meet daily schedules in a fast-paced job shop environment.
