COMPLETIONS ENGINEER

Growing oil and gas exploration and production company is seeking an experienced COMPLETIONS ENGINEER for their TULSA, OK office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Develop completion plan and costs for completion operations based on Geologic and Engineering Prognosis.

·   Bid equipment and services to optimize efficiency and minimize cost.

·   Supervise completion foremen on a daily basis to ensure safe and efficient operations.

·   Incorporate contingency planning into well proposals for Exploratory projects.

·   Consult with Drilling and Completion Manager on more complex and/or higher risk issues.

·   Help design casing strings for all well types from simple to deep, sour, directional projects to ensure desired completions can be made.

·   Perform post appraisals on all completions, including recommendations for performance improvement.

·   Track cost and operational efficiency day to day and trend analysis basis. Compare AFE to Field Estimated to Booked well costs for completions and uses this analysis to create next generation AFEs for core producing areas.

·   Support input of field data into PERC database and run queries for analysis from same.

·   Work closely with geologists, engineers, and field operations personnel to ensure completions are executed successfully.

·   Support asset teams as requested.

·   Direct Technician on many day to day tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

·   Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 3- 5 years experience in Completions or Oil and Gas Operations.  

·   Must possess proficient skills in verbal and written communication.

·   Sustain fast paced environment, strong organizational skills.  Ability to work well with a team.

·   Legally authorized to work full time in the US
