COMPUTER SYSTEMS SECURITY ANALYST 4

 

 

 

Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector is seeking a Computer Systems Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

 

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Intelligence Division, within a large, accomplished program of the ESSEX Operating Unit. 

 

The Program’s Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) will have specific expertise in designing secure LINUX environments, service oriented architectures, and virtual host management. This is not a traditional ISSE cross domain solution and/or certification and accreditation associated position. Exceptional skills, expertise and professional achievement in these areas are expected, however this position requires application of the traditional ISSE perspective to a dynamic and complex architecture and operational environment.  This program is one of the premier initiatives in the Intelligence Community. It is fast paced, demanding, and high visibility. This position will serve as the lead ISSE/System Engineer/Developer for a critical functional element of a global architecture.

 

Candidates for this position must be at the forefront of their professional peer group. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and lead solution development and implementation initiatives. Strong customer relationship skills and mission focus are essential.

 

General requirements:

 

SIGINT experience:  Required - At least three years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required for this position.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meet the experience requirement or equivalent documented combination of training and experience. 
  • Minimum 9 years in a technical role, providing technical expertise for software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers, of which:
    • Seven years experience as a Security Engineer supporting software architecture development
    • Experience with specific Customer Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations
    • Experience in creating System Security Plans
    • Experience in network security certifications
    • Experience in system certifications

 

Technical Requirements (Bold text strongly preferred):

 

Technical Languages:  UNIX shells. PERL, Ruby JAVA, JAVAscript, C/C++, SQL, XML, , XSLT, XSL-FO, PHP

 

Software:  Cross domain technologies, Virtualization Technologies (Xen, Qemu, VMWare), Zenoss, OpenLDAP, Puppet,Vitech’s Core, Apache, Kerberos, Netscape Certificate Manager, Oracle

 

Platforms:  LINUX- Redhat/Fedora, SELinux
