CONSTRUCTION CARPENTERS / SKILLED LABORERS

California Commercial Maintenance & Construction Company is hiring Carpenters/Skilled Laborers for its Southern California headquarters.

JOB TITLE:  Construction Carpenter/Skilled Laborer

Construction Carpenters/Skilled Laborers with qualified experience in the following categories will be considered:

-          Quick service restaurant service and maintenance

-          Fuel station/convenience service and maintenance

-          Retail chain store service and maintenance

General Experience Required:

·         Strong Carpentry Skills

·         General Trade Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·         Vehicle and tools preferred

·         May require night work / Graveyard Shifts

·         Fast-paced, high-pressure environment working alongside multiple trades

·         Take-off/preconstruction on every project

·         Wood/metal framing

·         Drywall and FRP

·         T-Bar

·         Finish experience a plus

·         May be required to respond to 24/7 emergency coverage as needed

·         Maintains daily and weekly paperwork

       Time sheets/Mileage reports

       Receipts/Purchase orders

Applicant must have a positive attitude towards change.  Can identify the need, remove the barriers and has the know how to make things happen.  Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people.  Has good common sense and applied logic.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Personnel are expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift.

Candidates must have valid California Driver License and clean driving record.  All final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report, Credit Check, and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
