What will you do with HNA?

Hagemeyer is currently seeking an individual to analyze, enhance and correct product data, as well as cross-reference, in order to complete specific tasks. The Content Specialist interacts with several departments to identify specific parameters necessary for customer data compliance and will work to use automated business analysis/reporting suitable for user requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

·         Develop, maintain and foster comprehensive knowledge of at least one of the commodities handled by Hagemeyer North America (Industrial, Safety, Machining Products & Solutions, Power Transmission, Electronics, Electrical, Voice-Data-Video and Automation & Control).

·         Uses departmental software to analyze, cleanse, cross-reference and other data activities required to complete tasks.  Conducts competitive product identification by catalog and internet research (ability to use internet)

·         Performs necessary database and spreadsheet manipulation to determine appropriate vendor and product information (market basket):

o    Database manipulation

o    Web site research

·         Suggests business rules as they apply to data and works with Business Data Analysts in order to assist in maintenance of data.

·         Creates and deploys documentation per Project Management Office requirements.

·         Provides reports as needed to management regarding project tasks.

What Skills and Experiences are needed?

·         Data analysis experience desired

·         1 – 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·         Experience with SAS Reporting or other reporting tools, Operating Systems desired

·         College Degree desired or equivalent education and training.
