CONTRACT - Business Systems Analyst (Airline Experience Required)





 


GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general direction, works closely with customers to identify user's business requirements. Interprets complex business needs and translates them into system requirements. Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development. Acts as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team.



EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent;


 


EXPERIENCE: Fluency in Chinese Mandarin language; Travel Industry (Reservation Systems) experience required; Minimum 5 years of related experience; excellent computer software skills; excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;


 


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Documentation: Enters, transcribes, records, stores or maintains information in written or electronic form . Operations Analysis: Analyzes needs and product requirements to create a design. Product Life Cycle: Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration � implementation/delivery and maintenance. Scientific Process: Applies the Scientific Process steps to question, research, hypothesize, test, formulate results, draw conclusions and implement a solution; understands appropriate tools, technologies and statistical/optimization models and techniques. Systems Analysis: Determines how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes, knowledge of products and system architecture .
