SUMMARY
Administer and coordinate Oshkosh government contracts. Serve as the liaison between customers and the company in providing information concerning pricing, government contracts, scheduling, billing, forecasting and other requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, administer and coordinate customer/dealer quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts and specifications in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform administration functions required for timely performance on Government contracts.
- Analyze on a regular basis labor charges, standardize labor purchase orders, and create progress reports on ongoing contracts.
- Track, analyze and review reports to ensure that costs, schedule, and
performance under assigned government programs are being controlled and
managed within established guidelines. - Prepare DD250 forms and DD1149 forms for approval by government to ensure invoicing and product shipment.
- Prepare reports as required by contract.
- Assist with preparation of such additional data or correspondence as may be required by management or the provisions of the contract.
- Communicate consistently with customers to clarify details regarding the orders.
- Provide technical support, administrative and research support.
- As required, this person may process and prepare credit memos, invoices, purchase orders, forecasts, project charts, in-house reports, back order requirements, stock level & parts requirements reviews, written & verbal correspondence to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
· Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
· Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· The ability to communicate effectively, deal diplomatically with customers & dealers, work independently, and be innovative and creative.
· Experience with JDE and WAWF preferred.
