Maintenance Manager Summary:

The maintenance manager is responsible for managing personal in the maintenance department.  Provide leadership, team building guidance, training enhancement and make sure all safety programs are followed.  Prior Experience or knowledge of Blown film Extrusion, Flexographic Press, Auto-wicketers, Sideweld, Drawstring and Slitter experience a plus.

We are looking for a self directed, motivated individual to lead the following initiatives: 

• Ability to motivate and organized skilled personnel to continually improve all production processes, minimize downtime and maximize output, efficiency and quality.
  
•  Further the skills of department personnel through evaluation, training and support. 
  
•  Spearhead the evaluation of current manufacturing systems for efficiency, productivity, quality and recommend strategic improvements.  
  
• Oversee and direct diverse maintenance projects and ensure projects are completed within budget and established time frame.
  
• Effective administration of maintenance programs for all plant equipment and systems. 
  
• Maintain safety standards consistent with statutory regulations.
  
• Assist the maintenance mechanics with troubleshooting and technical support by using prior knowledge, education, research or networking.     

Requirements:

• Education or experience totaling a minimum of five years in the areas of maintenance, engineering or manufacturing.
  
• Excellent organizational and follow through skills
  
• Experience with DC drives and strong electronics abilities
  
• Knowledge and experience in electric, mechanical, PCL, CAD design, hydraulics and pneumatics 
  
• Ensure a safe and productive department
