As a CPFR Manager, your essential job functions will include the following:
Manage Vendor Performance:
• Prepare and conduct CPFR meetings.
Develop monthly purchase forecast.
Review score card metrics for actual to goal.
• Implement corrective actions where actual performance is not meeting goals.
Identify and implement opportunities for operational enhancements.
Monitor new and future fitment availability and communicate with Product Screen group to ensure execution.
Review/ensure port program performance/availability
Manage phase in/phase out information with Product Screen group and supply execution
• Identify projected demand and supply gaps and implement solutions to protect future availability.
Provide to Purchasing and Replenishment Manager required order quantities to assure future availability and priority treatment for supplier inventory.
• Develop supplier resources to best in class CPFR methodologies.
• Manage supplier reserve strategy.
• Manage supplier complete and on time delivery.
• Resolve supplier back orders.
• Update supplier production notes on the stoplight.
Build Vendor Operational Relationships:
• Perform plant visits.
• Schedule and attend relationship building events as needed.
• Provide input to vendor recognition and rewards and Recognize/reward extraordinary service where necessary.
• Gather vendor and industry intelligence and share mutually beneficial information with Supplier Relations group.
• Collaborate on vendor operational strategy and ensure execution of set strategy.
Manage Downstream Buy Opportunities:
• Analyze deal buy report and determined optimal buy quantities.
• Collaborate on deal buy execution with Regional Purchasing and Replenishment Manager.
Manage Purchase Order Activity for Non-Tire Suppliers
• Analyze High Level Demand:
• Manage Fill Rate
• Perform Purchasing Activities

Requirements:
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Materials Management, Purchasing, Operations, or Business or related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a purchasing and replenishment role required.
• Experienced in CPFR methodologies and processes preferred.
• Ability to work as a team player towards mutual goals.
• Experience in a multi-warehouse national distribution network preferred.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience in the following areas: MRP, DRP, S & OP Processes, Forecasting, Production/Inventory Planning and Scheduling, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of proficiency in Excel.
Physical Job Requirements Include:
• Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
• Sitting for long periods of time.
• Travel as necessary
