Deliver software solutions that support the development of CPU circuit macros and standard cell elements.
. Develop software to support circuit characterization, simulation, verification, design management, and audit quality checks
. Support third-party tools used by circuit team such as Nanotime, Finesim, and Cadence
. Interface with design teams to innovate new circuit methodologies
Complete custom transistor level circuit design and layout of CPU functional units, macros, and standard cell elements for low power .
. Deliver circuits that meet power, timing and area constraints.
. Verify circuit functionality to HDL model (Verilog).
. Interface with design groups for timing closure, verification, support, etc.
. Provide timing models of circuits for CPU-level timing closure.

Required:
Experience developing software for circuit design tasks
Expertise in PERL, C++
CMOS circuit design skills and experience
Experience with Spice, or similar, simulation tool
Experience with industry standard custom circuit EDA tools, such as Cadence

Preferred:
1 to 3 years industry CPU circuit methodology and design experience
Expertise in Skill Language
Experience with low power design techniques
Experience with high speed simulation tools such as HSIM or Finesim-pro
Experience with static timing tools such as Nanotime
