- Microsoft*s Customer Relations Management (CRM) platform and Ascentium*s Task Management Tool (TMT), using a local Sharepoint instance with SQL database server.
- Track and report status CRM/TMT project milestones and action items on SharePoint site. Provide details of pending action items and milestones and any potential delays/issues to functional representatives and leadership. Compile inputs and deliverables associated with action items and milestones, post status on the information management system e.g. SharePoint
- Serve as key member of the IT team as lead/liaison for CRM/TMT. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the CRM/TMT initiative. Collaborates with contemporaries at other commands, software manufactures, and IT management team to resolve complex CRM/TMT, and other IT issues and develop strategies to maximize information management technology. Assists with development and training of personnel to utilize all aspects of TMT as required by their positions. Provides assistance to represent at conferences and meetings and present briefings related to CRM/TMT. Participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, committees or special IT projects. Analyzes areas of concern, identifies problems, and resolves conflicts through persuasive discussions with management and user representatives.
- Assist staff with technical expertise, support, administration, and maintenance of CRM/TMT/SQL/Sharepoint related software and servers. Recommends approval and revisions regarding mission/business processes and Directorate staff for command-wide implementation. Focuses on the business posture for command-wide Information Technology (IT) applications.
- Assist in the development of policy on TMT usage. Provides assistance to subordinate levels on capabilities of CRM/TMT. Conducts review of Performance Work Statements for systems or software development to ensure contracts include provisions to assure delivery of good quality hardware, software, and that required computer systems and services are reliable and maintainable. Directs and coordinates matters concerning contract implementation, interpretation, and application. Analyzes business cases and recommends expenditure of funds for automation resources.
- Works with visitors and receives telephone calls. Determines nature of request, provides administrative and procedural assistance; follows-up with customers as needed. Visitors and callers must be handled with a high degree of tact because of their position.. Establishes day-to-day priorities, interprets and adapts guidelines to resolve complaints/problems based on knowledge of policies and practices. Refers only the most significant and difficult determination to the Branch Chief, works with the staff to determine whether important business and high ranking calls and visitors should be referred to another staff member or delayed until the Branch Chief is available, taking messages or making later appointments as necessary.
- Maintains close contact with higher departments to obtain information and coordinate actions regarding CRM/TMT. Works to obtain information or material required for this position.
Monitors workflow organizational email box, TMT email box, and TMT Sharepoint site for customer requests/trouble tickets; completes requests and resolves trouble tickets in timely manner. Tracks and report status of project milestones and action items on SharePoint site. Provide details of pending action items and milestones and any potential delays/issues to functional representatives and leadership. Compile inputs and deliverables associated with action items and milestones, post status on the information management system e.g. SharePoint as directed
- Review, update, and generate documents supporting the communication systems. All concerns shall be coordinated and addressed with action officers within other Directorates. Provide weekly inputs into the Situation Report as requested by the to include: Requirement documents; Action plans; Operational concept documents; Implementation plans; Operating procedures; Planning documents; Specifications; Performance measurements; Logistics support plans.
- Provide Staff Action Support. Performing assigned staff action duties as tasked to manage related programs and execute responsibilities required for effective resource management. The Contractor shall support staffing of information/decision packages, monitor/track suspense*s/taskers, and prepare other correspondence as necessary such as briefing slides, memorandum, eSSS, and reports for MAJCOM.
- Provides CRM/TMT training to command end users as required. This includes formal classroom training, individual one-on-one training, and in-office directorate/executive officer training.
- Troubleshoots applications and SQL/CRM/TMT/Windows/Microsoft Sharepoint servers as required with appropriate agencies. This includes performing server updates and maintenance as required, adding and removing users to/from TMT using active directory, setting user permissions, and monitoring software license usage.
- Provides support to Sharepoint developer/administrator as required. This includes adding users, providing training, answering questions, and resolving user related issues. Will assist with the development and maintenance and subordinate organization Sharepoint sites and webpages.
- GENERAL INFORMATION
The contractor shall possess the following skills and experience in completing the tasks to serve as a Systems Administrator with responsibility for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems for the Client, specifically with Sharepoint, SQL, CRM and TMT (Task Management Tool) applications.
Required Personnel Qualifications:
* Held a key position in an organization providing IT systems support
* Demonstrate knowledge and experience (minimum 1 year) in the following skills:
o SQL server administration and maintenance
o Active Directory experience
o Microsoft CRM experience
o Microsoft Sharepoint system experience
o A wide range of IT principles, concepts, and methods
o Communications Systems
o Knowledge of system architecture and integration techniques
o Ability to review/revise/develop policy
o Ability to initiate and implement enhancement plans
o Ability to read, assess, and understand network topologies
o Microsoft Office computer skills are mandatory (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
o Program/Project Management
* The contractor should possess a bachelor*s degree. An additional 5 years experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
* Position related certifications (CRM, SQL, MCSE, DoD 8570). The DoD 8570 certification includes IAT Level 2 IAW DoD 8570.01-M IC 1 dated 15 May 2008.
