Calibration Technician

Lotus Technical Services has an opening for a Calibration Technician who will be responsible for implementing and managing the process calibration program at one of our customer sites. The successful candidate must be self motivated and have an excellent knowledge of working to the ISO9001:2008 standard.

Duties:

• Calibration of Temperature, Level, Pressure, Humidity, Conductivity, pH, and Control Valves


• Ensure stock levels of all spare parts are kept to specified quantities.


• Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with ISO 9001 and the Lotus Technical Services calibration policies


• Responsible for removing instrumentation from process systems and ensuring the correct safety procedures are adhered to


• Develop and implement systems for scheduling and documenting the performance of calibration activities.

Education and Experience

• Excellent ISO9001 knowledge


• 4 years industry experience


• Experience with Fluke 744 software


• Experienced with GE and AB PLC Hardware


• Capable of reading loop drawings and P&ID’s


• Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.


• Possess excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills
