Content Acquisition Specialist / Call Center
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded start-up. This role spans several aspects of content acquisition and will require you to be both hands-on and strategic. You will be calling small and medium-sized businesses to collect information and must be comfortable with and desire making calls the majority of the day. You will also be responsible for strategic changes to increase the performance of our calling efforts. We’re looking for a candidate with both strong analytical abilities and phenomenal people skills and phone presence.
This is not a typical (call center position). We are building a small team whose aim is to design and continually optimize our content acquisition model. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a Silicon Valley tech start-up with a local office in the Chicago area.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping build out a great start-up organization. This role requires exemplary communication skills and the ability to rapidly and iteratively identify and implement improvements to the model.
Requirements
· 2+ years direct outbound phone experience (Inside Sales, Survey Collection, and/or Advanced Call Center experience)
· Strong analytical abilities.
· Phenomenal people skills and phone presence
Pluses
· Teaching experience, preferably teaching adults (training, adult education, etc...)
· Start-up experience, preferably with a fast-moving high-tech startup
· Sales experience
· College degree highly desired, preferably in a field that exhibits good understanding of human psychology and/or communications
We offer:
The position is based in Orland Park, IL. Due to time-zone considerations, you will need to be flexible working different hours (sometimes till early evening - 7:30pm). The shifts will generally change every several weeks.
