Description:
Purpose:
Solicits and verifies sales of the organizations products and /or services via inbound or outbound calls, upgrade calls, cross sell and external partner transfers (CSM and/or Transfer Connect). Speaks with customer to determine customer needs, describes and explains products, makes recommendations, and secures sales. Records and reports results of all calls. Possesses an in-depth understanding of company products and licensing requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Performs both inbound and outbound calling to capture the necessary information to verify and close a sale.
2. Services inbound customer service calls as needed.
3. Works closely with our Licensing Department and management to acquire licenses and appointments required to support our business.
4. Provides renewal information to our company representative as soon as it is received from each state.
5. Takes continuing education courses as necessary to maintain licenses and appointments.
6. Works on multiple projects within the call center to grow the business and to handle service/cross sell calls.
7. Uses various resources to process 100% of calls received.
8. Answers customer inquiries, resolves problems, promotes and sells company products/services to increase sales levels.
9. Maintains complete knowledge of departmental products, services and procedures.
10. May assess promotions and advertising of products and services and suggest enhancements to Manager and Marketing Department.
11. Maintains compliance with all standards, controls, policies and practices as an active participant in the Companys Information Privacy and Security Program.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is in the Plano, TX inbound call center. Work schedules will vary.

Qualifications:
Experience/Background
Minimum Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
2. Minimum of 2 years of call center experience
3. Have or study to obtain a Life and Health insurance license in Texas
4. Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and take independent action based on past practice on well-established precedent.
7. Computer proficiency
8. Maintain high levels of professionalism, salesmanship, teamwork, organization, and customer service.
9. Ability to handle multiple assignments and work well in a fast-paced stressful environment.
Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience
$14.00 per hour plus applicable monthly sales bonuses. Work schedules will vary. Benefits include:
