Our client has enlisted Campaigners to hand pick a team of nationwide Call Center Specialists to help promote its products and services with its Telecommunications Division. The goal of our program is to educate Call Center Associates on the Client’s products and services in order to promote sales via inbound/ outbound calls with consumers. The program involves formal visits to large call center environments to conduct classroom and individual trainings, motivate call center associates to offer, qualify and drive service subscription, field questions, create a brand presence and to be the overall product expert on all client services, rates, promotions and transactional details. In addition, the position plays a critical role in solving end user customer issues, identifying challenges to sales improvements with a focus on creating recommendations and solutions, communicating service and promotion updates, driving incentive programs to improve sales and playing a key role in gathering information and best practices and sharing those with management and peers to improve overall team results.
While the focus on this position is on training, this is a sales position responsible for driving results. This position’s measurement of success is directly tied to the service activations of the call centers this position supports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Campaigners Call Center Specialist you will serve as the eyes and ears in the field for the client in various locations in the regional market. You will be responsible for taking ownership of your call centers assigned to you and scheduled by Campaigners.
Minimum Requirements:
· Up to 85% travel to various call center locations within the Region. The majority of the field work is to nearby locations reached by car travel with some air travel to more regional locations.
· The ability to professionally conduct onsite training visits to call center locations, including both formal classroom (large groups) and one-on-one coaching to communicate new and current promotional activities, service changes, selling skills and other training components.
· The ability to promote in-depth knowledge of the client’s services and to encourage the use of the most effective sales techniques needed to improve sales.
· The ability to build and maintain strong relationships on behalf of the client with call center employees and management in order to create a positive environment for client sales and marketing efforts within the call centers. The position also requires the ability to maintain strong professional relationships with regional and corporate personnel from the client and Campaigners to implement and support program goals.
· The ability to drive subscription activations in a call center environment.
· The ability to manage a demanding daily reporting schedule in order to ensure the position’s manager and the client have a clear understanding of daily activity and results. Daily Reports include detailed information regarding compliance, training and sales opportunities, market surveys, competitive issues, promotional initiatives as well as your unique comments and insights.
· The ability to assist with new product launches, sales events, and promotions.
· The position is responsible for completing 8 hour on-site call center visits each day, totaling 4-5 different locations per week.
· The ability to inspect client’s on site displays and re-supply, replenish, and clean them as needed to maintain the outstanding brand image of the Client.
Basic Requirements:
· Must be extremely organized and have extraordinary time management skills.
· Must be able to build strong working relationships with call center managers, supervisors, coaches, call center associates, and others across both the call center partner and client companies.
· Strong, effective interpersonal skills are mandatory – candidate must be able to initiate dialogues and engage sales personnel and consumers.
· Must be able to attend all-expenses paid, week-long training conventions twice a year with entire Client/Campaigners Delegates for team-building and skills training.
· Must be willing to commit to the position for a minimum of one year.
· Must be able to receive the Client’s retail marketing material on a regular basis at your home address.
· Must be available to participate in conference calls up to twice weekly to learn about the latest developments in the Client’s marketing goals and promotional activities.
· Must respond to phone and email messages from Campaigners corporate personnel within 24 hours of receipt.
· Must be able to work a Monday-Friday schedule.
· Familiarity with basic consumer audio/video setups and operations a plus.
· Familiarity with satellite and cable television a plus.
Job Requirements:
· MUST be willing to travel (with overnights), including air travel to nationwide cities.
· Call center work experience and supervisory experience is strongly desired.
· Event marketing experience is a plus but not required.
· College experience required. College Degree preferred (Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred).
· Sales, Retail Sales, Assisted Sales Experience, preferably in consumer electronics/broadband technology/wireless technology.
· Training experience in both informal and formal settings.
· Ability to maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times when representing the client.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to bring creative ideas to the position to find new opportunities to improve sales, increase call center focus and motivation and drive program improvements.
· Strong working knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
· Reliable transportation: i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events.
· Valid state issued driver’s license, current insurance, and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
· Legal authority to work in the United States (US Citizen, Naturalized Citizen, work visa, etc).
· Must pass a background and drug test.
· Valid Social Security number.
