Deloitte & Touche LLP's ("Deloitte & Touche's") Audit and Enterprise Risk Services business has a risk-based approach, experienced professionals, comprehensive methodologies, and technical resources. Deloitte & Touche's services combine competency and experience in the areas of financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.
Using sophisticated tools and methodologies, we work with clients to
address their most complex challenges by defining risk strategies, selecting and implementing technology solutions and risk management systems, and streamlining processes. We provide specialized investment accounting, performance analysis and implementation of enterprise-wide trading, risk and back-office solutions.
With specialization in all areas of asset management, our Capital Markets Technology Services (FSI) teams work with clients to define their risks, as well as design and implement systems, enabling clients to monitor and balance control objectives with business goals and acceptable risks.
Services include:
- IT and Business Process Strategy and Redesign
- Risk Technology & Operations
- Transacting and risk systems
- Complex accounting technology
- Trading, order management and compliance systems across all asset classes
- Performance analysis and reporting
Experience and skills:
- Knowledge of derivative instruments
and risk management
- Knowledge of developing systems through complete system development life cycle including writing functional specifications, technical specifications and test plans
- Knowledge of vendor based trading and risk management systems (e.g. Linedata, Charles River, Algorithmics, Sungard, Murex, Calypso, Summit or similar systems)
- Knowledge of hedge fund and investment accounting systems
- Understanding of database design (Oracle or SQLServer)
- Understanding of writing test cases or test scripts
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and Visio
- 5+ years experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Consulting experience preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Willingness to travel
