Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing non-invasive, general, and/or electrophsiology consultative cardiology services in hospital and clinic settings. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides initial consultation and daily follow-up rounds on patients in the cardiology service. Provides hospital coverage in coordination with other interventional and non-invasive cardiologists. Performs appropriate non-invasive studies (stress testing, TEE, cardioversion, etc) on hospitalized patients and scheduled outpatients. Interprets ECGs and Echos. Provides outpatient consultations.

Qualifications

  • Requires an MD or DO
  • Completion of approved internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship.
  • Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s)
  • Board eligibility or board certification in cardiology
  • Nuclear, CT angiography experience/certification preferred.
