CARDIOTHORACIC NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
- 2 physician practice
- Average of 10 office visits/day with average of 15-20 hospital consults/day
- Full-time, dayshift
- On-call every 3rd day (including holidays) but VERY rarely called-in
- Must be able to vein harvest, open & close tissue, etc.
- One other RNFA and a PA on staff
- $39.58- $53.21/hour; offer commensurate with NP or PA cardiothoracic experience
- Sign-on bonus negotiable (no set amount)
- Will be employed with a medical group, a partner company of the healthcare system
- Top 20 Performance Improvement Leader community hospital (Modern Healthcare August 2008)
- WILL NOT consider any candidates that do not have cardiothoracic experience and/or that are not proficient in vein harvesting
- Hospital is a nationally accredited Chest Pain Center
- Average DTB (door to balloon) time = 73 minutes
- 0% of open heart procedures in 2008 were emergent to OR
