Success in this position requires a person to continually drive top performance through disciplined execution of the following:

• Function as the Instructor of Record for all students within his/her program(s) of responsibility
• Evaluate each student’s progress and attainment of training objectives using a standardized assessment tool
• Conduct required number of externship site visits
• Evaluate existing and potential extern facilities and their equipment in support of programmatic needs
• Work closely with all site supervisory personnel to present positive student experiences
• Facilitate communication between the Career Services and Education Departments
• Develop sufficient externship sites to support the school’s programs and the student population therein
• Meet or exceed extern to hire conversion standard
• Serve as the campus liaison and primary point of contact for all administrative matters pertaining to externship
• Present Externship and Site Assignment workshops
• Maintain an attitude of enthusiasm and a willingness to cooperate will all department personnel
• Maintain confidentiality when working with students’ records, and “outside” personnel
• Assist with recruitment of Program Advisory Committee members

• Minimum three years Medical or Dental industry experience within past ten years is required.
• Previous trade school experience is a plus.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are also required.
• Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks, working under highly stressful situations, and handling frequent interruptions.
• Basic computer skills are required.
