Career Services Intern Coordinator - Allied Health

About the Job

Heritage College is a post-secondary career school seeking exceptional talent to lead and teach our growing student body! If you want to make a difference in the life of a student, then become the Career Services Internship Coordinator.

Responsibilities may include:
1. Advise students on resume and interviewing skills.
2. Contact potential employers in order to place our students.
3. Verify graduate placement and maintain an on-call list of grads seeking employment.
4. Conduct an initial and an exit interview with all students going on internship.
5. Recruit and maintain internship sites.
6. Monitor students and timesheets while on internship, including site visits.
7. Assist all graduates in finding Professional Placement in their field.
8. Assist students in licensing paperwork, national testing process, and job placement.
9. Monitor and lead volunteer activities.

Job Requirements

1. Must have 3 years experience in  Allied Health fields / Medical Assistant.
2. Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred.
3. Experience in one of the school programs to qualify for teaching in the field is desirable.
