We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist to work for our client in Plano. Candidate would have experience with timely and accurate application of customer payments to open customer receivables for all customer accounts assigned to this position.

Job Accountabilities: • Properly record payments to the appropriate customer accounts in a timely, accurate manner • Research unsupported check information with customers, as well as associates from Collections and Deductions groups • Maintain check files with support and transfer to records retention warehouse as necessary • Communicate quality issues regarding imaging service and ensure corrections are completed • Maintain written cash application procedures for individual customer accounts assigned to associate • Achieve individual and departmental metrics

Requirements:
3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
SAP/Oracle experience.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access)
• Excellent math and “10-key” skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrate effective team work, as well as self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness
• Demonstrated treatment of people with respect

Duration: 60 - 90 Days

Pay Rate: 13.00 - 13.50 Hourly DOE
