Casualty Claims Representative

Marten Transport Ltd., one of the nation's leading refrigerated motor carriers based in Mondovi, WI has a 

Casualty Claims Rep position open.

This role will direct flow of auto liability claims and perform proper adjusting of casuality files from onset of loss through settlement to minimize and reduce exposures to the company. The position will receive the first reports relating to Risk Management coverage, will control claims to insure proper handling occurs and/or assign claims as requested to outside adjuster and direct adjuster activities to conclusion. 

This role will:
 

• manage claims within department per procedures to insure investigation, evaluation, and settlement negotiation
• manage all corresponence relating to claims
• train new counsel, new members of department in position as required
• notify company departments as required of accidents injuries and more

Must have:

•     5 years of experience in handling bodily injury and property damage claims or a 2 year degree with 2 years applicable experience
