Description:
Chartis has an opportunity for a Casualty Underwriter in its Environmental division.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Underwrite a wide array of non-environmentally-driven and environmentally-driven accounts/operations, including General Liability, Auto, Umbrella, Pollution Legal Liability, and Contractor's Errors & Omissions.
Expand assigned territory's written premium by marketing EAGLE and PROPAC products to key, established brokers.
Generate and foster new relationships with brokers who currently don't utilize EAGLE and PROPAC products.
Develop new business opportunities for this division as well as new business cross-sell opportunities for other Chartis divisions.
Candidate should have at least three to five years of Casualty Underwriting experience (preferably General Liability).
Candidate must have strong underwriting, marketing, and sales negotiation skills.
College degree preferred.
