Position Summary:
 
Primarily responsible for team, customer, market and consumer analytics and insights. Activities include the development of actionable consumer and shopper category insights that apply to assigned Customer(s) and/or markets.  Contribute analysis and insights in the development and building of thetactical elements of the Category Leadership Programs (CLP).  Interface with the Customer at presentations and reviews in support of the team.  Update customer scorecards and assist the team in scenario planning by providing category management and industry insights.  Key internal interfaces are primarily with the Customer Teams, Customer Marketing, and Pricing, Category Management, and Selling Strategies organizations.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for customization, reporting and analysis of category information for assigned Customer(s)

  • Expert on utilizing and leveraging syndicated data bases, to include customer-specific data warehouse information and loyalty card analysis (e.g., IRI, Fresh Facts, Panel, Customer Specific, etc).

  • Recommend strategic/tactical elements of Category Business Plans to Team.

  • Interface with customer in support of consumer & shopper insight application.

  • Develop recommendations with Customer Team(s) and Customer Marketing to provide insights and analysis to help drive consistent sales recommendations on space management (e.g., assortment) and pricing.

  • Develop Customer Category Reviews/Business Reviews, Top to Top Presentations, and New Item Presentations (Core and Innovation) with the support of various team members.

  • Review compliance of DSMPs at customer level.

  • Provide analytical support on baseline and incremental Siebel Planning.

  • Responsible for Siebel Post Promotion Analysis.


  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 1-3 years relevant CPG experience to include some combination of: Customer/Trade Marketing, Customer Management and/or Category Management or any other combination of relevant education and experience that provided the required competencies for the role.
