Use category management tools & methods to support fact-based selling, provide impactful decision support, and enhance long-term relationships with customer through objective insight, development and presentation in order to drive sales growth and profitability. Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Utilize Category Management capabilities to deliver insights and actionable business tactics to our Remington sales team in order to gain incremental business, grow share, and improve service to big box customer. This includes, but is not limited to: space planning & modular planning, item sort, promotions planning & analysis, consumer analysis, inventory/replenishment analysis, sales & business trending, and forecast analysis.
- Work with Information Resources team to build capability and respect from the customer that facilitates winning advisorships in strategic Remington categories/sub-categories. Upon such, provide all services and results requisite to fill the role of category advisor.
- Deliver regular daily and weekly sales reporting for the Remington line of business. Deliver regular reports that are accurate, timely, and actionable, and provide commentary and analysis on those reports.
- Provide decision support to various business decision makers within the organization including Remington sales team, financial director, supply chain team, trade marketing, and consumer marketing. Deliver ad-hoc analysis that ensures quality guidance, counsel, and support that allows us to take advantage of otherwise unseen opportunities and advance notice of threats.

- Syndicated Data: Proficient experience in using AC Nielsen, IRI, or similar market and household panel data
- Preferred exposure to Retail Analytics software (Velocity, DME, Vision Chain, etc.)
- Required proficiency in Shiloh software
- Required high level of capability in mathematics, analysis, deductive/inductive reasoning
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information science, or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of industry experience (consumer products / retail) of which preferred 2 yrs. Sales/category/decision support experience.
