The Category/Merchandise Manager is responsible for market analysis, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, profitability and all other business/financial metrics associated with their categories.  You will use business data and market trend awareness to develop and execute a category strategy that includes assortment, pricing, promotion, and profits.  You will build and maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and customers.  Your efforts will result in increased retail sales, market share, and profits, as well as high levels of service, quality and customer care.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the business and has a strong merchandising background with proven success creating and leading compelling business strategies that grow sales and profits. The position requires superb business acumen, and outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.  We seek a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of successful category/merchandising/marketing experience.
