Position Summary:

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and innovative Category Team Assistant to join their Merchandising Category Team in Bentonville, AR. The Category Team Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to cross functional team members of the Merchandising Category Team. The Category Team Assistant will collaboratively manage calendars, execute purchase orders, schedule/coordinate supplier meetings, manage outgoing supplier communications, and shepherd store calls/remedy tickets to the appropriate parties for resolution. By providing this critical support, the Category Team Assistant ensures that the activities of the Merchandising Category Team remain focused on efforts that drive the business. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in a professional administrative support capacity

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Excellent organizational/time management skills

• Office management acumen

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Detail oriented, self-motivated, creative problem solver.
