As a Catering Sales Manager you will direct the actual sales of catering services to interal customers by establishing quotas and goals. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for developing relations and rapport with the clients of the organization. The Catering Sales Manager should have basic knowledge of contractual agreements and ability to generate clear and concise instructions to clients through use of these agreements. Supervises booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing and generating banquet orders for events and parties. The catering operation includes events for student organizations, faculty, staff and administration.



Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years industry & management experience as well as a strong focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business. Strong organizational skills with a proven track record in successful catering sales and operations are imperative for success in this role. Knowledge of and experience with selling, planning and executing special events is required. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
