Job Description
Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
Direct personnel management - experience with hiring, counseling, mentoring and terminating employees
Ability to learn and implement appropriate Federal, State, and local regulations
Ability to manage budgets through monitoring center activities
Ability to develop and implement required plans and follow standardized policies and procedures with education and monitoring of staff
Knowledge of billing policies and procedures a plus with emphasis on HMO, Risk and FFS
Degree in Health Care field preferred or equivalent experience considered: HMO exposure a plus
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Results and goal-oriented
Computer literate, with knowledge of Word, Excel and E-mail
Five years' management/supervisory experience in the medical field
Ability to multi-task; possess good communication skills and maintain professional appearance
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily operations of entire center. Oversees patient care and evaluates and suggests improvements to better meet patient needs. Recruits, selects and assigns all professional, technical and support personnel. Supervises all personnel: ensures the proper application of standard operating procedures, appropriate training, and implementation of corrective performance actions as necessary Responsible for fiscal management: accounts receivable, deposits, budget, billing, monthly reporting, and purchasing. Coordinates all staff meetings for professional, technical, and support staff departments. Provides continuous analysis of all operational activities and practice development. Works with physicians and staff to ensure appropriate center operation and rapport with patients, community, and industry professionals. Represents the Home Office and acts as a liaison between the Home Office, Center and patients. Participates with case management to help ensure proper compliance of timelines and policies. Represents JSA in every aspect of the job as a professional component of the company. Other duties as assigned.
