We are seeking an energetic and organized individual who loves children to run our company-owned model center. The Center Director operates as a math and reading center which supports the operations of Kumon North America as:

• a training center for new staff and franchisees
• a test center for new products and instructional strategies
• our after school Math and Reading program to children from the ages of 4 to 17.

The Center Director is responsible for the overall running of the center (student instruction, lesson planning, parent communication, tuition collection, the training of our employees by providing a model center in which they can work/learn, etc.) The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills establishing effective relationships with staff, parents, and children, share our goals and vision, and encourage students to reach their full potential.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• Strong Math and Reading aptitude
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Aptitude for customer service
• Strong leadership ability, including motivating others
• Experience in the education field a plus
