Position description

Medical Assistant

MEDICAL ASSISTANT



LOCATIONS/HOURS:

Inver Grove Heights Clinic / After Hours Care - 2980 Buckley Way, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076
    Evenings, Monday through Friday, 3pm -10 pm
    One weekend out of 4, both Saturday and Sunday, 9 am - 5:30 pm

Woodbury Clinic - 8325 City Centre Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125
    Full-time, 40 hours/week


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or willing to become certified
  • X-Ray Certified or willing to become certified
  • Clinical experience preferred


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with organizing and maintaining all laboratory functions, i.e. general nursing functions, x-ray functions, preparing patient for visit and assisting the physicians at the Family Health Services Facilities.  Ability to efficiently perform activities in the areas of laboratory, general nursing, prepare patient for visit, radiology, and miscellaneous duties.  Participation with patient and family centered principles that are aligned with Health Care Home standards.
