Our Rehabilitation Assistants which is similar to a CNA, work with our brain injured clients to supervise and assist them in re-learning activities of daily living, which includes dressing, bathing, eating, shopping, recreational and social activities. R.A.'s work in the residential setting (apartments) with our clients, implementing therapeutic home programs designed by staff therapists and accompanying the clients in the community for various activities. R.A.'s must be dependable and able to accurately document and chart the activities of the clients. CNS provides training for the position. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with successful completion of a drug-screen and physical abilities test. The Irving (Dallas), Texas facility offers full-time shifts, including a.m., p.m., and overnight, rotating schedules 4 on 2 off.
