Richmond is a well known provider of supports and services for people with developmental disabilities and complex med needs in Westchester County. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with our Agency, you will be responsible for implementing high quality occupational therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life of developmentally and physically challenged individuals, while working as part of a team that helps improve the lives of clients with physical, emotional, mental, and developmental disabilities    .

 As a COTA,  you will be required to fulfill the standard responsibilities of the position including the following:

• Assess the daily living skills and capabilities of developmentallyor emotionally disabled clients
• Consult with an occupational therapist to create a treatment plan
• Help select activities that meet the needs and capabilities of clients

 
Associate degree from an accredited school required. One year experience working with people with developental disabilities preferred.
