The START Center for Cancer Care was founded in 1985 and has grown to eight locations with over 20 physicians offering a full range of treatment options for patients facing cancer. We specialize in Medical Oncology, Hematology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our outstanding team and work with the physicians of the START Center as we aim to usher in a new era in cancer treatment, one that combines customized, streamlined cancer therapies with groundbreaking, accelerated drug development efforts.
We are now hiring for a Certified Pharmacy Technician; as the Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the procurement and distribution of prescription medication orders. You will be expected to maintain and generate patient reports and records. The Certified Pharmacy Technician must maintain adequate medication inventories and pharmacy supplies along with daily and accurate medication order entries, and keep an accurate recording of patient credits, charges, and all patient information. It is also the responsibility of the Certified Pharmacy Technician to retain current technician certification requirements. In addition, a true and correct copy of renewal certificate must be provided.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent must have a current Pharmacy technician certification from the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Two or three years of IV / Chemotherapy admixture experience preferred but not required.
