This position is responsible for developing and executing partner product training for Digium’s worldwide network of distributors, value added resellers and direct marketing resellers to enable the sales of IP telephony solutions to small and medium businesses. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing a sales and technical product training and certification program to educate channel partners and rapidly increase their productivity and success. This is a hands-on, technical position that will include the following primary responsibilities:
Develop training curriculum for existing products and new product introductions
Training delivery – develop and deliver product training and demonstrations to train the sales teams, systems engineers, and to “train the trainers” of channel partner organizations
Course scheduling – manage webinar and classroom training schedule
Support new product introductions:
- develop and implement sales enablement tools to train channel partners and support marketing campaigns focused on building market awareness, generating leads, and supporting partner recruitment, development, and retention
- develop and manage sales and technical training within partner portals
- create call scripts and guided demonstrations for technical and pre-sales staff
- develop, manage and present Digium partner education webinars
- measure campaign effectiveness
- support partner events, seminars, and trade shows
Requirements:
Minimum of four years of experience in a pre- or post-sales engineering or training and development role for high-tech company
Experience developing sales and technical training, giving demonstrations and presentations required
Experience in multiple marketing disciplines a plus (product marketing, channel marketing, telemarketing, lead and campaign management)
Understanding of telecommunications solutions, voice and data networking, vendor partner programs, and go-to-market strategies a plus
Experience providing pre and post sales technical support a plus
Very strong organizational and written/verbal skills
Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects with different partners
Ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across sales and marketing teams
Must be “hands on” with all facets of job with ability to think both strategically and tactically; dealing with current requirements, while ensuring corporate strategy is reflected
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in technical field
