Channel Manager CATV Broadband

About the Job


• Drive the sales of hand held test instruments and Systems through a defined channel portfolio
• To provide timely and effective pre sales and technical support to our partners in the Telecommunication test industry.
• Primary geography TBD
• Reports to Director CATV Sales

Position Responsibilities:
• Drive the sales of hand held test instruments and systems through a defined channel portfolio
• Help partners create the need for hand held and all system solutions in specific operators with business cases and technical regulations;
• Help partners develop executive level contacts at specific accounts for the JDSU portfolio.
• Strong focus on closure of profitable business;
• Development of Market strategy for assigned channel portfolio
• Help partner coordinate Request for Information (RFI’s) or Request for Quote (RFQ’s) responses;
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding the budget revenue for assigned portfolio;
• Prepare monthly reports as required.
• Keep One Voice up to date with partner opportunities
Position is posted to be located in Indianapolis, but the company is open to other locations.


Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Channel Management in the Telecommunications industry or CATV industry.
• A BSc degree in Electronic or Telecommunication engineering or equivalent qualifications within the CATV industry working with major MSO’s
• 3 years experience in fixed line Telecoms Test & Management market.
• A good track record in Channel-Rep Management Sales.
