Will develop channel support programs, marketing and merchandising strategies and build channel relationships that drive both residential and business paid TV subscriptions. This person will be responsible for teams tasked with project management, tracking results, recommending changes necessary to meet goals, multiple budget oversight, and overseeing the development and implementation of in-store merchandising plans. Personnel and department management includes, but is not limited to: Retail Co-op pre-approval team and guideline creation, Partner Marketing Development Fund and advertising approval team, individual(s) responsible for quarterly channel merchandising, and individual(s) charged with initiating, implementing and maintaining channel support tools.
We are looking for a talented candidate with a direct marketing and channel management background with success building strategic marketing programs and displaying strong collaboration skills when working with cross-departmental and partner company teams.
Responsible for identifying new opportunities within multiple target customer groups and business verticals. Ability to develop a deep understanding of the target customer and develop marketing strategies positioned to speak to their wants/needs/issues.
Must be able to lead market segmentation, targeting and positioning process necessary to make smart decisions that take into account DISH Network strengths, Retail channel local advantages, customer demands, competitive forces and other market factors.
Candidate must possess strong analytical and strategic development skills that can be applied to the development, execution and management of winning marketing strategies.
Act as liaison between DISH Network marketing and Distributor or Retail partners in the development of new acquisition, retention and existing customer communication plans.

Education Requirements:
Masters of Business–Marketing from four-year college or university plus a minimum 4 years related experience; or Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) plus a minimum 7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate in an environment with changing priorities and the capability to respond quickly to situations and requests. Detail and deadline oriented. Strong interpersonal skills. Intermediate understanding of Microsoft (MS) in a Windows environment with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), database (Access) and presentation (PowerPoint) software applications is required.
