ChaseWorks Associate - Bilingual Receptionist/Screener (Temporary) / Home Lending - Ft. Myers, FL

The Receptionist/Screener will provide administrative support to the homeownership center and its management and advisor team (approximately 5 - 8 employees). He/she will welcome borrowers who visit the location for face-to-face meetings with homeownership advisors, review the borrower's loan documents or ask basic questions about the loan and then direct the borrower to the correct advisor (a Chase, WAMU or EMC advisor). When waiting is required, the receptionist will manage the wait list and communicate approximate waits times to borrowers. Other receptionist/screener duties include but, are not limited to; - answering multi-line phones,
- scheduling appointments,
- maintaining the department schedule and the center manager's calendar,
- coordinating meetings,
- reserving conference rooms and making food arrangements,
- notarizing loan documents when requested,
- creating requisitions for supplies,
- operating and maintaining office equipment,
- preparing reimbursements for employee travel and entertainment expenses,
- replenishing the refreshment station,
- providing light administrative support to prepare for presentations to community groups, etc.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Compensation: $17.50/hour, plus 5% language differential when applicable
- Two years of college or one year of administrative experience required
- Prior work experience in a retail or mortgage banking environment preferred
- Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with diverse groups and individuals
- Demonstrated ability to consistently present professional behavior, empathy, image and demeanor to internal and external
- Ability to successfully complete required and on-going certification and training programs including, but not limited to, Fair Debt Practices Collection Act (FDCPA), etc.
- Counseling centers will be staffed 6 days a week. Saturday coverage will be required per the staffing schedule
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English strongly desired.
- Licensed Notary a plus!
