As a Loss Mitigation Specialist/ Solicitor at Chase, you will be responsible for the following: Correspond directly with customers, brokers, title companies, and attorneys in order to facilitate delinquency resolution through Loss Mitigation, consultation, and collection efforts to avoid foreclosure. A solicitor performs the following activities: Analyze borrower requests for assistance which may include various workout options depending on the borrower's intent to retain or liquidate the property and investor guidelines, negotiate and close optimal outcome with customers. The process requires information gathering from borrower, document requests, financial analysis, inbound and outbound calls. Must be able to work in a high production environment, meet daily, weekly and monthly productivity standards and consistently achieve monthly goal objectives. This may include quantity of files, quality reviews and timeline standards.

Schedule:  Day Shift only
 
Monday - Friday from  5:00am to 10:00am and every other Saturday 10am to 3pm.

 
Pay: $14 an hour
This is a temporary assignment.  (Length of assignment to be determined.)


  • Minimum of two years professional experience in mortgage banking, real estate or related field

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong mathematical skills

  • Demonstrated strong organization and attention to detail skills

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills to be used in financial counseling and evaluation and interpretation of complex information

  • One year sales and/or customer service experience a plus
