 Chef Manager

The Chef Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Food Service Department.  The Manager will play an active role in finance/cost control, food production, the supervision of food service employees and provide training to cooks and other production staff.  Other responsibilities include assisting in cooking and preparing food as necessary.  The Chef Manager will also be responsible for maintaining food service and storage facilities in sanitary conditions,  interacts with patients, patient families and cafeteria customers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree or certification with 2+ years of supervisory experience in a health care setting.  Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.  Solid food service supervisory, organizational and time management skills are essential.
