This is a unique opportunity for a part time Chef who likes to show off their culinary expertise. for an appreciative small group of individuals who reside in a 20 bed residential program that treats men who experience mental illness and substance use disorders.

The part time Chef of the residential program will work under the direct supervision of the full time Chef & the Program Director and with assistance and in collaboration with a nutritionist/consultant.

The Chef will ensure a proactive approach in their work, by offering high-quality foods, including heart-healthy entrées and snacks, in a positive manner.  This follows the mission to create a warm and caring atmosphere.  

This position is for Friday and Saturday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements:

Culinary Degree and/or equivalent experience working with and preparing high-quality food.  An understanding of and ability to work with our residents is critical.  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Serve Safe Certification a plus.
