DUTIES:

• Analyzes, through standardized testing methods, industrial water from clients and prospect clients


• Maintains, through calibrations and running methods, laboratory test equipment and testing methods.


• Cleans and maintains glassware soiled during sampling and testing


• Maintain a databases of tested constituent results and updates files for client reports


• Reports on and transmits generic recommendations of clients process systems


• Analyses using standardized testing methods problem scale, deposits, biological problems and corrosion existing in clients process system


• Monthly inventories of laboratory equipment and supplies, ship ordered polymers and test kits to sales representatives and test and verify the accuracy of testing kits. Place requisitions for laboratory supplies and chemicals.


• Performs such similar comparable or related duties as be required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• One or more years experience performing qualitative and quantitative chemical testing and analyses. Must have working knowledge of standardized testing and analytical methods. Must have mechanical aptitude and stellar organizational and oral/written communication skills. Excellent command of all Microsoft office products. Must have normal color vision.

EDUCATION:

·        AAS in biology or chemistry required, Bachelor’s degree in chemistry a plus
