Position is in the surface technology department providing thermal spray coatings for variety of industries. 

The Process Engineer is responsible for working on new programs for surface technologies.

Responsibilities:

Take new projects through all stages of development to production with minimal supervision

Interact with the Sales department

Participate in all facets of planning, developing, and documentation of a new project

Demonstrate an understanding of the strategic business needs

Act as an engineering contact for customers, and may travel with Sales on technical visits.

Responsible for report writing, DOEs and preliminary operation sheets

Provide technical support to internal and external customer

Assist in troubleshooting process problems for manufacturing

Analyze existing processes for possible efficiency improvements

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

 -Material Science, Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of material applications engineering experience

5 years of THERMAL SPRAY experience

AutoCAD skills

Metallurgical knowledge

Root cause analysis experience

Strong project management skills

Ability to lead a team with minimal supervision
