The ideal candidate will:

   Perform laboratory procedures following laboratory test protocol.
   
   
2. 
   
   Analyze and interpret experimental results under direction of  team       lead.  Collaborate with the team on next steps in the process.
   
   
3. 
   
    Act as in-house technical expert supporting laboratory equipment.
   
   
4. 
   
   Perform general cleaning, daily and/or preventive maintenance.
   
   
5. 
   
   Manage chemical inventory.
   
   
6. 
   
   Troubleshoot routine instrument and test method problems.
   
   
7. 
   
   Maintain all notebooks and documentation of work in accordance with company standards and/or project requirements.

Requirements

1. 
   
   B.S.in Chemistry with 1-3 years of industrial or academic research experiences.
   
   
2. 
   
   Familiar with general chemical synthesis.
   
   
3. 
   
   Excellent written and oral communication skills.
   
   
4. 
   
   Work well in a team environment.
   
   
5. 
   
   Knowledge of applicable safety and standards guidelines.
   
   
6. 
   
   Utilize Word and Excel to generate reports and graphs.

Preferred Experience

1. 
   
   Polymer synthesis - emulsion or dispersion polymerization.
   
   
2. 
   
   Functionalization of nano-particles or nanoparticles / polymer composites.
