Leading SEO solutions provider with extensive and expanding customer base seeks a dynamic, multitalented individual to fill the role of CEO to lead the company through its next stage of growth. Will work closely at our Madison, Wisconsin location with the Board and senior leadership, as well as lead all operations, sales, team development, product development, and financial management.
netconcepts is an SEO solutions company specializing in helping their clients build search engine optimal web sites and applications. They provide services in all aspects of natural search marketing, e-business, and website development Netconcepts was founded by its chairman, Stephan Spencer -- a highly respected SEO industry veteran. In order to fuel its growth, the Board of Directors of netconcepts is seeking a seasoned growth stage technology CEO who can lead the company in its efforts to raise growth capital and build its customer base.
Their cornerstone solution, and the engine for the company’s future growth, is a patent pending SaaS application called GravityStream. This solution is a performance-based natural search platform that utilizes cutting edge technology to create a real-time, spider-friendly version of a client’s website that is instantly optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities
Drive growth by building on existing experience and making changes as necessary to implement a sales-oriented culture.
Refine the sales & marketing strategy by optimizing existing channels & strategies and developing new ones.
Lead the product management function, ensuring that product development and research efforts are market-based and deliver innovative marketing solutions on par with this industry leading organization.
Reinforce our culture of industry innovation and exceptional implementation services to accommodate expanded sales and marketing efforts.
Improve customer retention and growth results.
Lead financial management efforts.
Build strong collaborative industry relationships to strengthen the company's market position.
Experience
The successful candidate will have a track record as a successful growth-stage CEO with SaaS or other software enabled services firms. Candidates should possess:
Proven track record of growing organizations from $1 million to $25 million in revenues.
Demonstrated ability to build cohesive and effective teams and consistently drive profitable results in high growth/entrepreneurial environments.
Proven ability to work independently without a “big company infrastructure” and brand to rapidly grow companies (or less preferably divisional P&L's for larger companies).
Experience leading sales and marketing efforts within software, marketing or IT service companies to both enterprise and mid-market customers, ideally in retail and/or consumer services sectors.
Success developing and executing fundraising and exit strategies.
MBA a plus.
Fifteen years' management experience a plus.
